Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including the BOMAG 2200-75 milling machine, skid steer loaders, and backhoe
- Remove old asphalt layers and prepare surfaces for repaving
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Monitor the milling process to ensure the appropriate depth and width
- Assist in transporting machines as needed
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, maintenance and work performed
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience operating asphalt machinery
- Class A license Preferred
- Clean driving record with the ability to pass a tier 1 background including MVR
- Prior skid steer/backhoe experience a plus in addition to asphalt milling equipment
