The Facility Coordinator at Canon USA & Affiliates is responsible for coordinating all facilities for particular buildings and departments to ensure smooth operation for business. This role involves providing administrative support, resolving facilities issues, and coordinating maintenance requests. Responsibilities

  • Perform conference set-ups including audio visual equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors to provide preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, fire systems and generators
  • Assist with coordination of maintenance request with the building personnel
  • Repair drywall including patching, paint, and paint touch-ups
  • Conduct minor appliance troubleshooting and repair
  • Conduct office moves, to include furniture and office equipment
  • Perform picture and wall decor hanging at client request
  • Perform standard light bulb and ballast replacement
  • Complete minor carpentry tasks
  • Assemble, disassemble tables, other furniture for large events
  • Maintain and track list for all maintenance requests to ensure timely completion
  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors for support on larger projects
  • Coordinates with building management for maintenance repairs under their purview
  • Maintains inventory of tools and expendable maintenance supplies, and coordinates with Site Manager for requisition of new supplies and tools
  • Assist hospitality staff in client operations as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or comparable work experience
  • Minimum of one year facilities maintenance experience
  • Computer skills-Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • 5 years' experience in facilities support management role
  • Basic facilities maintenance knowledge
  • Basic carpentry and appliance repair experience
