  • Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively.
  • Works with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making.
  • Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and 4+ years relevant experience.
  • Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
  • Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Scrum and understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, collaboration skills and cultural awareness.

Preferred

  • Experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries.

**Responsibilities**

**The Scrum Leader for Research/Cancer Center Data Product portfolio will provide agile support and facilitation of ceremonies for the following development teams: Clinical Trials Beyond Walls, Cancer Center Research, and Cancer Center Practice.**

Mayo Clinic's Scrum Leader will work in the Center for Digital Health, with the purpose of extending our agile expertise and helping deliver digital solutions and products to consumers, patients, and providers to improve their health journey. The Scrum Leader facilities workflows in a scrum environment, ensuring that members of the team follow through on their respective duties and responsibilities.

+ Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.

+ Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.

+ Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering and Experience Design partners to ensure successful deliver

+ Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.

+ Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
