  • Experience with purchase orders
  • 2+ years experience with customer service
  • Must have experience with Sage software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel with the ability to work through pivot tables and VLOOKUPS

Location: Roselle, NJ

Pay: $20 - $23 an hour

An industry leading company is looking for an administrative assistant to join their team! The primary areas of responsibility of this position are to perform various assignments such as administrative tasks, customer service, filing, and more!

Job Description:

-Administration Coordination: Organize and coordinate various administrative tasks and office procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity

-Invoicing and Quoting: Complete daily invoicing, prepare quotes, and ensure accurate documentation of finances

-Purchase Order Management: Prepare purchase orders and correlate with customer material

-Communication Handling: Answer and direct incoming calls, providing assistance or routing calls appropriately

-Customer Communication: Maintain communication with customers via email, ensuring timely responses and efficient resolution of inquiries or issues

-Support to General Manager: Assist the General Manager with various tasks and projects as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations

Experience:

+ 3+ years of administrative experience

+ Experience in an industrial industry such as manufacturing, distribution, or heat treatment

+ Experience with purchase orders

+ 2+ years experience with customer service

+ Must have experience with Sage software
