The Front Desk Receptionist at Barclays Center is responsible for greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, scheduling meetings, maintaining the office waiting area and conference room presentation, and supporting Human Resources projects such as recruitment and payroll. Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors at establishment, determines nature of business, and notifies person called upon on visitor's arrival.
  • Schedules, takes notes, and sends recaps for all HR meetings to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintains the office waiting area and conference room presentation.
  • Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls to the appropriate individuals in addition to taking messages as needed. Manages the office budget, supplies, and processes expense reports.
  • Leads the ordering of event meals, supplies, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Sends out communication to the arena staff regarding policy changes, office closures, and other HR updates.
  • Facilitates the planning of hiring events, orientation, and workshops.
  • Acts as the overall support on Human Resource projects such as: recruitment, payroll, and general HR tasks.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years proven experience as front desk representative, agent, or relevant experience
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of office management and administrative work
  • Great organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication and people skills; customer service oriented
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams

CANDIDATE PROFILE: Who You Are

+ The Front Desk Receptionist has 2+ years proven experience as front desk representative, agent, or relevant experience.

+ High school diploma: additional qualifications will be a plus.

+ Always possess a welcoming and friendly demeanor.

+ Experience managing and redirecting phone call and emails.

+ Dynamic communicator and cross-department collaborator.
