Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance, wealth management, or financial services
  • Life Insurance License
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail ensuring speed and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proven computer skills including working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS CE, and Word

Full Job Description

**Position Summary:** External Sales are responsible for recruiting, developing, and maintaining relationships with insurance agents and financial advisors. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. External Sales Representatives will also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Promotes and sells products and services to hit and surpass profitability goals through suggestive sales techniques.

+ Maintains expert knowledge of carrier/product portfolio

+ Participate in and lead training seminars in-person or online.

+ Maintain detailed notes in AMS/CRM with prospects/customers

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $48,000-$50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
