The Patient Care Technician in the Oncology unit at Saint Thomas West is responsible for performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Aide preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ **Schedule:** Full Time Day, 3 12 hour shifts, 7 pm-7 am
+ **Hospital:** Saint Thomas West
+ **Location:** Nashville, TN
+ Our Oncology unit is a 24 bed newly-renovated, fast paced Acute Care unit. Nurses receive support from ancillary interdisciplinary team members as well as patient care technicians. We care for the adult population with a variety of diagnoses, such as: Primary cancer diagnosis: breast, lung, colon, Chemotherapy administration (once certified) and symptom management,Blood dyscrasias: anemia, hemophilia, sickle cell, and General Med/Surg overflow.
