  • Operate a forklift, overhead cranes, tape measure, calipers, and hand tools.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist.
  • Read and write job numbers.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work in collaboration with receiving and material handling.
  • Maintain finished goods inventory control and accuracy.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Perform all duties in conjunction with UAI and ISO requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have forklift and material handling experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to sustain 95% efficiency.
  • Can maintain a high level of quality with no scrap in excess of $500 per calendar year.
  • Can inspect and clean equipment.

Preferred

  • Understands how to manage daily work expectations and goals.
  • Understands cross check concepts and inspects product according to Inspection Control Plan.
  • Follows safe manufacturing and material handling practices.

SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision this position is responsible for operating various pieces of equipment in the movement of materials for loading of trucks for equipment and parts sales to customers in conjunction with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies.

Reports To: Shipping Supervisor

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

+ Loads outbound shipments for customer delivery.

+ Inspect outbound shipments for damage, verify quantities, and address any discrepancies

+ The individual must possess a keen sense of attention to detail

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

+ This will be an onsite position in Seguin, Texas.

+ If selected for the role, a drug screen and physical will be conducted.
