Responsibilities

  • Reviews and prepares data for analysis, ensuring quality and technical standards are met, and assists in developing datasets for machine learning applications, with guidance from senior team members.

  • Designs and utilizes machine learning pipelines for data preparation, and applies advanced algorithms to enhance business solutions, while independently running statistical analyses to validate model assumptions.
  • Contributes to the training and deployment of scalable AI solutions, develops new machine learning improvements, and supports the application of intelligence in real product environments, leveraging large-scale computing frameworks for model enhancement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctorate or currently pursuing in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience
  • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience creating publications (e.g., patents, peer-reviewed academic papers)
  • Specialized experience in one or more of these areas: Natural Language Understanding, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Large Language Models, Data Mining, Machine Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence) or related fields
  • Experience with statistical modeling and deep learning especially with frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow or Keras.

Applied Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
