The Information Technology Support Technician at Venteon is responsible for hardware/software installation and maintenance, including setting up and networking PCs and Macs, installing and networking printers and other devices, and providing regular maintenance for hardware. Responsibilities

  • Install and upgrade hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with corporate standards
  • Set up, configure, and network PCs and Macs
  • Install and network printers and other devices, including necessary drivers
  • Provide regular maintenance for hardware, including PCs, Macs, thin clients, network switches, printers, scanners, and digital bulletin boards
  • Maintain and track hardware inventory, including PCs, cables, and related equipment
  • Install and configure workstation hardware such as monitors, docking stations, and desk phones
  • Offer general Help Desk support for end users
  • Support desktop applications, operating systems (latest Microsoft OS versions), and peripheral devices
  • Troubleshoot ERP, PLM, CRM, and Autodesk solutions
  • Configure and troubleshoot mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android)

Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency in networking and communications (LAN/WAN), system engineering, and maintaining infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (2010 and later) including Access, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Exchange Server 2010
