Responsibilities

  • Supporting 3 Attorneys on paralegal, office management, and legal assistant tasks
  • Leading transition of practice to new case management and billing systems
  • Conducting basic legal and public records research
  • Assisting in entering attorney billable time, sending out invoices to clients, tracking expenses and payments
  • Preparing documents including editing and compiling exhibits, redactions, table of contents/authorities, basic drafting of litigation, trusts/estate and real estate documents
  • Communicating with clients, potential clients, Court clerks, and vendors

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of legal experience
  • Experience with hyperlinking and state e-filing
  • Familiarity with case management software and LexisNexis
  • Tech-savvy

Preferred

  • A Notary or willing to become one
  • Experience working for a real estate firm
  • Experience tracking your billable hours
  • Federal e-filing experience
  • In person Court filing experience
  • Paralegal Certification

This opportunity includes the feel of a small law firm, yet provides the chance to explore a diverse variety of law within a sizable practice. We have developed and maintained a respected track record for counseling clients on commercial and personal matters. Our practice has a strong focus on commercial litigation, estate planning administration and litigation, and real estate transactions. The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience, ranging from $65,000 - 75,000, annually depending on experience. Neufeld, O’Leary & Giusto is an equal opportunity employer.
