Our client, a leader in innovative packaging solutions, is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee a team of 7-10 direct reports in Somerset, New Jersey.   • Participate in the selection and implementation of new capital equipment (CAPEX) to enhance production capabilities.
  • Support the production team in the commissioning and validation of new equipment.
  • Act as a liaison between the quality and production teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on quality-related topics.
  • Engage with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and drive improvements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM functions or within Management.
  • Past experience in a formal quality management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and talent development.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, processes, and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with CAPEX processes and new equipment implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
