The Pricing Analyst at DCS Corp will be responsible for preparing competitive professional services proposals for the Federal Government, primarily for engineering and information technology services. Responsibilities

  • Evaluates solicitations for proposal requirements as well as pertinent sections of the FAR, DFARS, CFR, and other applicable Government laws and regulations.
  • Prepares fully responsive, highly competitive pricing models, adapting company Excel templates as necessary for GWAC IDIQs, CPFF/T&M/FFP Task Orders, and Research and Development BAAs.
  • Leads pricing and coordinates with Operations team for compliant bases of estimates for competitive salaries, levels of effort, and other cost inputs.
  • Leads DCS team price volume proposals, estimates target subcontractor bid rates, and requests cost inputs from them by sending pricing data calls and/or templates.
  • Responds to prime data/rate calls when DCS is bidding as a subcontractor.
  • Fully and independently leads/prepares entire cost volumes including preparing narrative explanations of pricing methodologies used in competitive proposals.
  • Interfaces with senior executives, operations leads, capture managers, business developers, and bidding partners. Presents pricing progress in management reviews.
  • Participates in price-to-win and competition analyses.

Qualifications

Required

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree plus 7 years, or a Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years, or a Master's Degree plus 4 years of services/labor pricing experience in the DoD GovCon environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of various contract types, FAR/DFARS requirements, and labor pricing

Full Job Description

As part of the Pricing Department, the Pricing Analyst will prepare multiple concurrent, competitive, and complex professional services proposals to the Federal Government (mainly DoD) for engineering & information technology services.

Essential Job Functions:

Evaluates solicitations for proposal requirements as well as pertinent sections of the FAR, DFARS, CFR, and other applicable Government laws and regulations.

Prepares fully responsive, highly competitive pricing models, adapting company Excel templates as necessary for GWAC IDIQs, CPFF/T&M/FFP Task Orders, and Research and Development BAAs.

Leads pricing and coordinates with Operations team for compliant bases of estimates for competitive salaries, levels of effort, and other cost inputs.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Minimum of an Associate's Degree plus 7 years, or a Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years, or a Master's Degree plus 4 years of services/labor pricing experience in the DoD GovCon environment (including job functions listed above) is required.

Able to prepare several bids at once despite shifting deadlines and company priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (ability to manipulate and create nested complex formulas and to work within a variety of Government provided Excel templates, using formulas to link to an internal pricing model).

Must have strong verbal and written business communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of various contract types, FAR/DFARS requirements, and labor pricing (DL/comp builds, various wraps) required
