We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team.   • Create custom product designs and detailed engineering drawings using SOLIDWORKS.
  • Modify existing designs to meet unique customer requirements or improve performance and manufacturability.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with applicable industry standards, company policies, and quality control requirements.
  • Provide detailed and accurate manufacturing documentation to production teams, including bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions.
  • Liaise with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs are feasible and cost-effective for production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing challenges as they arise.
  • Conduct design reviews and simulations to ensure the product meets performance and reliability requirements.
  • Perform tolerance analysis and oversee prototyping to validate design concepts.
  • Identify opportunities for improving design processes and implementing best practices.
  • Work with the team to streamline project workflows and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in an ETO or custom manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive experience with SOLIDWORKS (including part, assembly, and drawing creation).
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
  • Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (required) and other CAD/CAE software.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and how they integrate with engineering data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools within SOLIDWORKS.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO, ASME).
