Responsibilities
- Maintain industrial equipment and repair or replace malfunctioning production or processing machinery
- Inspect equipment on a regular basis and submit appropriate documentation of test results and work order resolutions
- Shut down and disassemble machinery as needed
- Order and install replacement parts when necessary to keep industrial equipment functioning in top condition
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
- Troubleshoot malfunctions
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
- Use precision measuring and testing instruments
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices
- Use hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools
- Examine form and texture of parts
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience
- Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred
- Experience with Food Processing equipment

Salary: $35-38/HR
2nd shift role: 3pm-11:30 but must be open to covering 1st and 2nd shifts if needed
