The Fabrication Engineer at Brightpath Associates LLC is responsible for designing and building custom industrial process equipment.   • Assist with formal proposals
  • Review customers purchase orders to verify they comply with the latest proposal
  • Assist with non-engineered and engineered work orders
  • Finalize and process bills or materials for procurement
  • Create and own supporting documentations for work orders which can include cut sheets, travelers, quality, tests, and assembly the manufacturing cut sheets
  • Communicate with the Leads, Sales, Design and Scheduling teams during the project as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years technical experience working in the heavy industrial equipment arena
  • Specific experience with project management, manufacturing estimating or manufacturing planning
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • An Understanding of corporate finances and profit generation
  • High level ability with blueprint reading
  • Prior experience dissecting technical specifications
  • Prior experience coordinating schedules
  • Prior experience coordinating with sub vendors
  • Strong interpersonal skills

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FABRICATION ENGINEER


Design and build manufacturer of custom industrial process equipment. We engineer to order, as well as build to print, a wide variety of specialty equipment. Most of our equipment is built in house by our own in-house fabricators, machinists, mechanical and electrical assemblers. This position owns projects while supporting other projects with Manufacturing Engineering Expertise, along with new technology justifications for the department.
