Qualifications
Required
- 7 years of experience
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry (Biotech, Pharma, Medical Devices)
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (ie: ASTM, ISTA, ISO, etc.)
- Familiarity with packaging qualification processes (ie: distribution simulation testing, human factors & usability testing, child resistance and adult-friendly testing)

Title: Packaging Testing Lead
Location: Rockford, IL
Job Description:
- Soft skillsets: – Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable leading activities, tasks, and a team of Testing Engineers
- Technical skillsets: – Strong project management, technical documentation competencies, report writing, package design & prototyping, cross-functional partnership & collaboration. SME-level understanding of pharmaceutical packaging development and package performance testing.
- Day-to-day duties may consist of direct client consultations, design reviews, Root Cause Analysis, calls with package testing vendors, cross-collaboration with the team to execute necessary tests, and assistance with developing new hire training materials for the Test Services program.
- Close collaboration with on-site Package Design and Engineering teams to help onboard new client projects and provide support with various package performance testing services.
- Assist in the planning and deployment of a new onsite Package Testing Lab to enhance packaging performance and feasibility testing capabilities.
Education & Experience:
- 7 years of experience required
