  • Prepare and submit an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tracking MTIO program milestones.
  • Provide strategic performance management support.
  • Coordinate with Financial Analysts and Performance Analysts to analyze IMS data.
  • Identify and document requirements from stakeholders within the DHA.
  • Document lessons learned for use by the Change Management Team.
  • Work Hours: Monday-Friday 0900-1700 (flexible).
  • Travel: occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years (6 years total) of experience
  • Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Tier 1 (T1) Public Trust Clearance.
  • PMI, PMP or equivalent (may be waived for incumbents by the COR).
  • ITIL 4 Foundation (may be waived for incumbents by the COR).
  • Skilled in identifying and addressing client needs.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of business and management principles.
  • Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on assignments.
  • Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office products and related applications.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess and mitigate potential risks.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proven ability to excel both independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is committed to medical excellence, health care improvement and ensuring military personnel are ready to perform combat operations and humanitarian missions at home and abroad. You'll provide information technology technical and program management expertise to Defense Health Networks and their Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF). The Market Technology Integration Office (MTIO) Division delivers the Geographic Service Leads (GSL) model to the Military Health System (MHS) CIOs. Through the GSL model, the division provides Program Management Support, Enterprise Resource Planning and Management, Enterprise Schedule Management, Performance Management, Change Management, Technical Support Services, Financial Management, and Internal Communications support to the MTFs within their health network/geographic market.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
  • Plans, initiates, and manages information technology (IT) projects.
  • Manages and coordinates schedules for project milestones, meetings, and other relevant activities to support optimal use of IT resources, ensuring that scheduling processes are efficient, and adaptable to changing needs.
  • Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Addresses and resolves any issues that arise during the implementation and operation of IT systems. This includes technical problems, user concerns, and coordination challenges. Aligns support with the DHA's strategic focus on delivering dependable, agile, and effective healthcare solutions.
  • Prepare and submit an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tracking MTIO program milestones, which will include all necessary dependencies and allow for on-demand reporting.
  • Provide strategic performance management support to effectively develop, maintain, and integrate MTIO's services into a market-focused operational framework at reduced risk and cost.
  • Coordinate with Financial Analysts and Performance Analysts to analyze IMS data and produce all required reports for management and MTIO executives.
  • Identify and document requirements from stakeholders within the DHA. Engage with various departments to understand and address the needs of all stakeholders, aligning with the DHA's commitment to listening and responding to the needs of teammates, partners, and service providers. Deliver a Requirements Documentation Report bi-annually.
  • Document lessons learned for use by the Change Management Team to develop training courses to educate Functional and Technical experts from across the MHS enterprise.
  • Work Hours: Monday-Friday 0900-1700 (flexible).
  • Travel: occasional travel may be required to support customer events and meetings.

  • Project Manager: Bachelor's degree and 2 years (6 years total)
  • Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Tier 1 (T1) Public Trust Clearance.

  • ITIL 4 Foundation (may be waived for incumbents by the COR).
