Imprimis Labels and Packaging, a well-established leader in the printing industry, is seeking an Account Manager to maintain and grow revenue from the customer base, identify new opportunities, and act as a conduit for all information required from customers to expedite orders. Responsibilities

  • Maintains and grows revenue from the customer base.
  • Identifies new opportunities within the customer/account and works to build that opportunity into additional income.
  • Acts as the conduit for all information required from customers/sales to expedite the order.
  • Sets up and maintains customer master date in the Label Traxx system for an assigned set of customers and BDM representatives.
  • Conducting bi-monthly customer service follow-ups by phone and email.
  • Documents key customer preferences and expectations per the SOP.
  • Act as project manager liaison between sales and production.
  • Understand the basics of plant/equipment capabilities and limitations to determine the pertinent information and lead time required to produce a quality product.
  • Manages the daily flow of customer orders.
  • Validates incoming art, orders, and customer requests and coordinates outsourced orders with the production manager.
  • Enters daily customer purchase orders into the Label Traxx system.
  • Confirm charges, pricing, and miscellaneous charges. Add necessary price breaks to existing quotes.
  • Follows up on the proofing process to get prompt turnaround from the art department and the customer.
  • Reviews and manages daily ship list & blanket order updates.
  • Coordinate all sales team orders through the project/plant manager and provide additional quality control assurance checks at shipping.
  • Filtering and managing drip leads.
  • Follows up on Rush Order requests.
  • Regularly update customers with information regarding the order status.
  • Preparation of sales materials, storyboard presentations, and other customer communications.
  • Fields customer calls throughout the day and provides backup when in need.
  • Handle press proofs, process complaints/credits, research, and assist in clean-up of open payment issues.
  • Manage customer inventory programs; proactively work with customers to maintain agreed-upon inventory levels and ensure shipments are released as planned.
  • Collaborates with sales reps, customers, and other employees of the organization to resolve customer problems effectively.
  • Prepares reports for sales analysis of customer development, such as purchase trends, inventory needs, and price grids.
  • Assists with estimate preparation upon request. Follow up on new and repeat estimates.
  • Work with the Manager to implement critical initiatives and assist in special projects/tasks such as new business setup, account/workload transition, backup other account managers, complaint processing, and resolving open payment issues.
  • May manage house accounts without assigning a sales rep.
  • Participate in required training sessions/seminars.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in customer service in a manufacturing capacity.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook.
  • Ability to learn company-specialized software programs.

Preferred

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in customer service in a manufacturing capacity; related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. The manufacturing and printing industry is preferred. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook, and the ability to learn company-specialized software programs.
