Qualifications

Required

  • Demonstrated experience with organizational-wide impact building iOS and Android consumer-facing applications at scale (5MM+ active users)
  • Experience in one of these languages: Obj-C, Swift, Java or Kotlin.
  • 8+ years of professional mobile development experience
  • Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and to keep projects on schedule.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed and innovative, you build trust and are biased towards action in fast-paced environments
  • You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure. You care about innovation.

Preferred

  • Additional knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design maintainable APIs is a plus.
  • Experience in payments processing (ACH, CreditCards).
  • Experience working on personal finance management (PFM) products
  • Familiarity with consumer credit risk and the customer life cycle

Overview

We are looking for a Staff level Mobile Engineer to help architect our Mobile Apps for the next 2-3 years of growth. Ideal candidate should've designed/architected mobile apps with high quality, stability, and lower latency.

The base pay for this role will be between $150,000 and $250,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
