  • Confirms patients' insurance eligibility with insurance companies.
  • Completes insurance claim forms and submits claims to insurance companies.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

  • Medical receptionist experience
  • EMR scheduling software knowledge
  • EPIC software knowledge
  • Spreadsheet and Word Processing software knowledge

Job Location: 100 Hospital Road, #112 Patchogue, NY 11772

Job Type: Full-Time (Clinic hours are as follows: Monday 10:30am-7pm, Tuesday 8am-4:30pm, Wednesday 10:30am-7pm, Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-4pm)

Salary Description: $17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience

Qualifications
