Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in telecommunications with proven experience in business development, sales, and strategic planning.
  • Established network of industry contacts and relationships.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunication services, infrastructure, tower, and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business, defining and achieving sales objectives, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent professional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 50%.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet the company's insurance carrier's criteria for coverage under the company's insurance policy.

Full Job Description

We are seeking to hire an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our PTI Services team. This individual will be a key leader in driving strategic growth and business development opportunities for our telecommunication tower services. The focus will be on identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities and partnerships to meet our overall business goals.

In this role, you will cultivate and maintain cross-functional relationships, both internally and externally, to enhance lead generation and market share. Your efforts will be pivotal in shaping PTI's market presence, driving revenue growth, and selling tower services to ensure our continued success in the industry.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5- 7 years' experience in telecommunications with proven experience in business development, sales, and strategic planning in telecommunications.
  • Established network of industry contacts and relationships preferred.
  • Must have a strong understanding of telecommunication services, infrastructure, tower, and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business, defining and achieving sales objectives, meeting minimum margin requirements, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
  • Consistently tracks emerging markets and trends.
  • Identifies and recommends a sales pipeline of new services and partnerships with defined implantation strategies and ownership of integration.
  • Fulfills request for proposals (RFP's) from potential partners and customers and supports contract negotiations.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
