  • Perform other accounting-related duties, including conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Responsible for network agent accounting tasks, including managing intercompany transactions, processing agent payments, and reconciling statements with partners to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial dealings.
  • Liaise with network agents to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlements, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, specifically within the freight forwarding industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at Fracht Group - North America. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in accounts payable, specifically within the freight forwarding industry, and proficiency in CargoWise software or a similar system. This role involves supervising the accounts payable team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and acting as a liaison between team members and upper management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
