  • Creating team member work schedules to achieve optimum customer service, merchandise display, store security, and expense control
  • Ordering merchandise to stock store
  • Maintaining records of sales data and bank deposits
  • Planning attractive merchandise displays that make effective use of the sales area
  • Attending marketing and sales meetings
  • Maintaining a clean and neat store

Qualifications

Required

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience or education in Business and Marketing is preferred
  • Two years of experience in a management/supervisory position
  • Ability to supervise and train in shipping/receiving functions, stock duties, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service retail
  • Willing to travel or relocate
  • Prepared for considerable standing, reaching, lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift over 40 pounds
  • Exposure to inclement weather
  • Exposure to various merchandise with potential for contaminated or damaged items
  • Availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts

As an Assistant Store Manager, you would be an essential part of ensuring the success of our stores and Goodwill's mission.
