These are paid internships and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week during the summer months. Amica has created an internship program that is an excellent way for students to receive hands-on experience. Upon successful completion of an internship, candidates could be considered for full time employment.

Responsibilities:

This position would be working in one or two groups within the Accounting Department. Responsibilities and duties may differ based on the assigned group during the internship. The Accounting Department groups include the following:
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Accounting Compliance
  • Treasury Operations
  • Accounts Payable
  • Billing Services

Qualifications:

Our internship program is designed for individuals who have completed their sophomore or junior year from an accredited college/university before the start of the summer internship and will be continuing their undergraduate studies in the fall. Candidates should be seeking a degree in an Accounting or Finance field of study with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

All candidates must submit a resume that includes their GPA to be considered.

Amica conducts background checks which includes a review of criminal, educational, employment and social media histories, and if the role involves use of a company vehicle, a motor vehicle or driving history report. The background check will not be initiated until after a conditional offer of employment is made and the candidate accepts the offer. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment.
