  • Foster community and inclusivity within the company through initiatives that enhance workplace culture and morale.

  • Maintain accurate records of IT and metering equipment, collaborating closely with IT and Business Integration teams.
  • Assist Chief Operating Officer with ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Prepare documents, presentations, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and handle correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Author and post quarterly employee newsletters to keep staff informed of company updates, upcoming events, and important milestones.
  • Assist with credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain organizational chart, phone lists.
  • Monthly notifications for Anniversaries and Birthdays.
  • Effective time management, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proactively communicating project progress and status to ensure all parties are informed.
  • Maintain budgetary discipline and ensure all expenditures align with the approved project budget.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of administrative office experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in proofreading and business correspondence standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Full Job Description

Resource Energy (RES) provides highly customized energy procurement and energy use and data management solutions to many of the world's largest commercial real estate companies as well as commercial and industrial businesses. At RES, we develop and implement energy strategies that reduce expenses, minimize, and manage risk, leverage our experience and data to optimize energy use and manage greenhouse gas emissions, report on best practices in sustainability as well as generate profitable revenue streams for our clients. These strategies include power and gas procurement, energy data collection and calculations, sustainability analysis/reporting and multiple other energy related services.

Location: Ellicott, Maryland (Hybrid: 2 days per week in office)

Job Type: Part-time (25 to 35 hours per week, flexible hours)
