  • Use Salesforce and sales enablement tools according to SimpliGov standards.
  • Support Sales Executives by prospecting and scheduling qualification meetings and product demos.
  • Maintain a sufficient volume of outbound activities to achieve or exceed your monthly quota of scheduled demos and qualified opportunities.
  • Confidently demo the SimpliGov platform and build relationships with prospects and customers.

Qualifications

Required

  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual.
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant working experience.
  • Outstanding written, verbal & presentation skills.
  • Comfortable, confident & professional in contacting potential customers.
  • Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing.

Preferred

  • 1+ years of SaaS SDR experience.
  • Prior experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Apollo (or other Sales automation and CRM systems).
  • Physically based in New York.

Position: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: California/New York/Remote

Our cloud-based government modernization platform empowers state and local organizations to rapidly improve constituent and employee experiences through online forms and workflow automation. We are a no-code solution that integrates with existing backend systems, enabling lightning-fast implementations that deliver modern and efficient government services.

Job Summary:

SimpliGov is seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) responsible for prospecting and generating qualified leads for our Sales Executives. The ideal candidate is results-driven, possesses strong and natural sales talents, and is committed to creating new business opportunities.

This position is an entry-level role within the Sales team and reports to the Director of Sales Operations. Significant opportunities are available in terms of compensation (no cap on commissions) and a career path to an Account Executive role. On target earnings are split 50/50 salary and commission.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $60,000 plus commission and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
