Qualifications

Required

  • An ownership mindset with P&L accountability
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to form and lead teams
  • Experience in leading the cross-functional integration and implementation of complex systems and technologies
  • Ability to assess business or technical risk and develop corrective actions and mitigation plans
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong acumen in MS Office applications and ability to learn new systems (financial, contracts, supply chain, operations, etc.)

About the Role

General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Deputy Program Manager (DPM) within the Air Defense and Stryker program office.

This position is a key member of the Air Defense Program leadership team. Air Defense Programs include SGT Stout, Single Vehicle Stryker Counter-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SVS C-UAS) and Directed Energy Maneuver Short Range Air Defense (DE MSHORAD). Air Defense Programs are fast paced, dynamic and provide critical new capabilities to our warfighters. This position is responsible for providing organization, direction and guidance to a cross-functional team across the GDLS organization. This role has P&L accountability and requires excellent communication, organization and strategic thinking skills.

This position is heavily focused on engineering development, material planning and vehicle delivery working with Engineering Project Leads, Supply Chain Management, including suppliers, and Manufacturing Project Leads.

Qualifications Sought
