  • Addresses and responds to customer inquiries about billing, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Acts as a liaison and escalation point between the Billing team and other Czarnowski divisions.
  • Acts as the departmental representative at various meetings.
  • Oversees the Billing process and ensures a successful monthly close cycle.
  • Hire, manage, develop, and advocate for the Billing team
  • Maintains team expectations to ensure that each team member understands them and monitors them for compliance; evaluates direct report's performance.
  • Addresses personnel issues as needed and in a timely matter.
  • Utilizes technology resources to maximize efficiency while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing role
  • At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and have a working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., ERP systems)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in managing a team
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

The Purpose:

We are looking for a Billing Manager to join our team! As the Billing Manager, you will be responsible for workload management and ensuring the timely and accurate issuance of invoices following our clients' deadlines and our internal processes.
