Description
Job Purpose: GSM Outdoors is seeking a Social Media Customer Service Specialist to work with one of the top growing outdoor companies. This position will moderate user-generated content on our platform by reviewing strong graphic images, videos, and/or written content to ensure the content meets the community guidelines and to escalate any content that violates the parameters set. An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Summary of Essential Job Duties:- Review, classify and / or eliminate highly sensitive content, uploaded by users, according to the parameters defined by the company.
- Communicate with users that may be violating community guidelines via email.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Will need to monitor new posts made by group members and delete any that are not appropriate, as well as helping respond to comments from customers where necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Experience navigating internet websites including social media, commercial websites, etc.
- Strong spelling, grammar, and reading skills.

- Established home internet connectivity.
- Availability to work various shifts.

Required Education and Experience:- 2 years of experience in Customer Service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to moderate sensitive, and potentially offensive content.
