  • Managing a multi-line phone system

  • Ensure the next day's schedule is filled for all providers
  • Gather all patient's personal/insurance information and update current information on file
  • Confirm and document patient appointments
  • Enforces the company's financial policy by collecting and entering payment transactions accurately
  • Checking in patients utilizing dental software, and ensuring proper paperwork is given and completed by patients
  • Enters transactions and posts payment at time of patient check-out
  • Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility and updates information accurately
  • Maintaining electronic records privately for patients by scanning/sorting properly
  • Maintain office lobby/waiting room cleanliness
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in dental office setting
  • Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.
  • Position requires traveling to different offices to fill in when needed

Preferred

  • Oral Surgery, Pedo, and/or Orthodontic experience
