Qualifications

Required

  • Production-level experience with core quantitative analysis techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing) in a consulting environment.
  • Quantitative background with relevant experience using data to solve problems and answer questions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and experience with libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with cloud and modern data science tools and platforms such as Databricks MLFlow, GCP BigQuery, AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, and Azure ML.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

Role: Data Scientist

Compensation: Consultant: $95,000-130,000 base + variable bonus; Senior Consultant: $120,000 to $150,000 base + variable bonus

Location: Denver Metro Area

*Please note:This role isnot eligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Denver Metro Area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom Denver office up to 5 days a week.

  • Apply fundamental and advanced quantitative methods, including machine learning and statistical modeling, to solve complex business problems and enable data-driven decision-making (e.g., build statistical and machine learning models for trend analysis and forecasting to predict future business outcomes for a Fortune 100 company)
  • Collaborate with client data science teams to enhance, scale, and operationalize existing models
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership on the latest ML/AI technologies and applications to client industry and use cases

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the Consultant base salary pay range is $95,000 - $130,000 and the Senior Consultant base salary range is $120,000 to $150,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
