The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, from raw materials receiving to finished goods put away, distribution, as well as outsourced materials in transit. This role ensures efficient inventory management, people leadership, and compliance with safety and quality standards.What you'll be doing

• Supervise receiving, labeling, storage, and shipment of finished goods and outsourced materials.
• Maintain and control bin locations in the warehouse and ensure inventory accuracy through regular physical cycle counts.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, cGMP regulations, and other applicable policies, promoting a safe work environment and maintaining documentation, procedures, and training curricula.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and maintain established performance metrics.
• Attracts, develops, and retains talent. Ensures focus and alignment with functional and company goals. Provides employees with continuous feedback and coaching using talent-and-performance management tools fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
• Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the table

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a distribution environment, preferably within the medical device industry
• Proficient in SAP, with NetSuite knowledge as a plus, and experience with FedEx Ship Manager
• Preferred familiarity with FDA, ISO, and cGMP regulations, IATA regulations for domestic and international shipping, and working knowledge of freight forwarding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, walk/stand for long periods, and be flexible with extended hours, overtime, and occasional travel (10%)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong soft skills in development, motivation, and accountability, and working knowledge of MS Office applications.
