The Distribution Supervisor at Bioventus is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, from raw materials receiving to finished goods put away, distribution, as well as outsourced materials in transit. Responsibilities

  • Supervise receiving, labeling, storage, and shipment of finished goods and outsourced materials.
  • Maintain and control bin locations in the warehouse and ensure inventory accuracy through regular physical cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, cGMP regulations, and other applicable policies, promoting a safe work environment and maintaining documentation, procedures, and training curricula.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and maintain established performance metrics.
  • Attracts, develops, and retains talent. Ensures focus and alignment with functional and company goals. Provides employees with continuous feedback and coaching using talent-and-performance management tools fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  • Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a distribution environment, preferably within the medical device industry
  • Proficient in SAP, with NetSuite knowledge as a plus, and experience with FedEx Ship Manager
  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and cGMP regulations, IATA regulations for domestic and international shipping, and working knowledge of freight forwarding.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, walk/stand for long periods, and be flexible with extended hours, overtime, and occasional travel (10%)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong soft skills in development, motivation, and accountability, and working knowledge of MS Office applications.
