  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Scheduling, and Warehouse areas for process, best practices, and Dynamics-NAV usage
  • Oversee all production paperwork and job preparation delegated to staff
  • Work with all areas of the organization to facilitate production areas functioning best
  • Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays
  • Ensure compliance with organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a productive environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred

  • Experience with MRP, specifically with NAV

With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Production Assistant Manager to join our team in Camarillo! This is a full-time, exempt position.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities in the following areas: Safety Committee Member, MRB/CAPA/SCAR Committee Member, USDA Authorized User for Serial Release (as approved by the USDA), Lead or Participate in appropriate Production Meetings, and other relevant Production Areas as determined by Managment.
  • Management of the Autoclave area staff operational activity, machines, and supplies. The Production Area Execution requires coordination with the Customer Service, Production Supervisors/Coordinators, Solution Teams, Material Handlers, Warehouse Staff, Supply Chain Planners, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering/Facilities.
  • Responsible for the production area operations, including planning, coordinating, and controlling of manufacturing process. Ensuring a high level of manufacturing success, producing significant quantities at a very high-quality level, with very efficient operator requirements and minimal scrap. Managing groups of employees. Provides update to managers when Standard Operating Procedures and/or Best Practices are not correctly reflected on specifications/procedures.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Scheduling, and Warehouse areas for relevant process, best practices, and Dynamics-NAV usage, including: timecard approvals, OEM Bill of Ladings, sterilization paperwork, Hygiena Intl weekly orders, courier pickups (Conejo, Orange, Idexx), determine materials for autoclave and gamma, review specific job folders, preparing of product/jobs for shipping.
  • Performs interaction and development of staff, which includes Production Asst Leads, Coordinators, and Supervisors.
  • Oversee all production paperwork and job preparation that is delegated to various staff members for their specific function, including activities such as job signoffs and removing material from the cooler on the weekends and holidays for labeling.
  • Successfully work with all areas of the organization, including Solutions/Environmental, Engineering, and Quality Control to facilitate the production areas for functioning as best as possible. Identify and Report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks Guidance as necessary.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protections and the protection of the other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manuel and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

In accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; enforcing all safety rules and ensuring safe work procedures.

Qualifications:

Salary Range (applicable to California):

$66,560 -$72,000 annual base salary

  • Experience with MRP, specifically with NAV is desirable. Must be able to lead teams.
