The Chas E. Phipps Company, a family-owned distributor of specialty construction products, is looking to fill an Outside Sales/Account Manager position based out of its headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. For over 100 years contractors have turned to Phipps to help them put work in place correctly and profitably by supplying high quality and innovative products and equipment, technical expertise, and trusted service. The markets Phipps services include, but are not limited to, Civil Construction, Concrete Restoration, Structural Concrete and Flatwork, Industrial Construction and Grouting, and Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Grow market share by developing and executing quarterly strategic growth plans for account base and territory
- Identify, quote, follow-up and close major market opportunities
- Collaborate with major vendors to create growth strategies, execute growth objectives and tactics
- Facilitate customer growth through product and equipment training seminars
- Communicate with Project Sales Manager on specific job tracking tasks and activities
- Continued education of products, sales techniques, and market trends
- Work closely with estimating team, equipment specialists, and local branch employees
- Develop and build positive relationships with new customers in an assigned geographic area, promoting new account development
