Responsibilities
- Building a great restaurant culture
- Embedding P. Terry's in the community through strong crew member and guest relationships and Local Restaurant Marketing
- Building strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Managers and Crew Members
- Consistently training and developing Crew Members and Managers and verifying training standards are being maintained
- Directing the Management Team, including setting weekly Management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to the Managers of the restaurant
- Responsible for the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant
- Supporting the Management Team in developing and leading initiatives that build sales, profitability, and store performance
- Planning, preparing, and overseeing weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets
- Managing weekly and monthly P&L
- Ensuring all cash handling policies and procedures are being followed
- Overseeing the cleanliness of the restaurant and preventative maintenance of the equipment and building
- Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
- Acting as primary liaison with all restaurant vendors and Home Office contacts
- Attending weekly and quarterly meetings
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years as an assistant and/or general manager in a restaurant, including full service and/or quick service
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Must be able to pass a Driving and Background Check
- Food Handlers Certification, ServeSafe, or equivalent
Preferred
- Drive-thru experience
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English (speaking, and listening)
- Ability in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Publisher

- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Hands-on experience in all facets of FOH and BOH
- Strong written and verbal communication are a must, including the ability to interface with
others in an approachable, and professional manner. - Excellent Leadership skills and ability to foster teamwork, inspire confidence and develop trust.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of various employment laws, best management practices, and interviewing skills.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English a plus (speaking, and listening)
- Ability in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Publisher. Ability to
learn other functional software, which may include Paylocity, CareerPlug, BRINK, CTUIT - Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
Compensation: $55,750.00 - $65,000.00 per year
