This role allows you to work from anywhere you choose across the U.S. (excluding U.S. territories).

Your role and impact

As a member of the LeadershipTeam, a successful candidate will bring financial acumen, strategic vision and excellent leadership abilities to the role. You will be responsible for accounting, audit, tax, internal controls, financial modeling, financial reporting and assistance with the Board. Reporting to the CEO, you will implement and maintain processes that are fully compliant and highly efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Establish financial strategies for long-term profitable growth of the company, manage accounting, and control all functions of the finance department, while providing cross departmental support
  • Prepare financial models, reports and statements for internal and external use
  • Plan cash flows and oversee investments
  • Manage activities related to finances, taxation and capitalization of equity, including capitalization table activity through the Carta software platform
  • Oversee the annual business insurance renewal process; manage insurance certificates and their distribution to appropriate parties along with other ad-hoc insurance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Own monthly close and reporting, developing efficient and effective financial processes that are ready to scale
  • Manage the external audit
  • Ensure full GAAP compliance and improve existing control infrastructure
  • Provide a financial perspective on contracts and commitments made by the company

Qualifications

  • Advanced analytic, modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Sage Intacct financial software preferred

The salary range for incoming hires for this position is $147,000 - $218,000. At 98point6, compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience and scope of responsibility.
