The QA Technician I at Arlon Graphics is responsible for testing products to validate their integrity against performance testing standards. Responsibilities

  • Product Testing
  • Raw material and Work-In-Progress physical property testing as appropriate to confirm compliance to the product standard
  • Collect and verify production samples from all manufacturing areas and maintain all sample retains in an organized manner for easy retrieval or reference
  • Follow all house cleaning and safety rules and report any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor
  • Maintain lab equipment within specifications and promptly report any malfunctions
  • Assist senior technicians/engineers/supervisors with customer complaint investigation including product testing and applications
  • Review incoming RMAs for accuracy and develop/execute investigation plans as appropriate
  • Apply product knowledge to assist manufacturing team dispositioning potential nonconformances
  • Prioritize and execute tasks with minimal direction
  • Effective communication with management and team to ensure goal alignment and results
  • Effective time management
  • Act as change agent with proactive and engaging attitude towards other teams and team members

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate of science degree in a relevant field of study
  • One (1) + year of recent work experience, including hands-on laboratory experience
  • Strong arithmetic and communication skills, in the English language (listening, verbal, written, presentation, inter-personal)
  • Microsoft Office ® proficient

Essential Functions

Product Testing

Pay Transparency

The current pay rate for this position is between $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will. The Company reserves the right to modify pay, as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program, at any time. EOE
