Implementation Engineer

Job Title: Implementation Engineer (Contract Role)

Location: Preferably East Coast, USA (Remote)

Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension

Start Date: ASAP, ideally by September 30, 2024

Overview: Our SaaS product client is seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The role will involve working across multiple customer implementations, collaborating with internal project managers, and managing the technical integration of our platform with client systems. The role involves regular client-facing responsibilities, including troubleshooting, status reporting, and ensuring the technical success of the implementations. You'll work closely with the client's technical teams and represent Dexcare in these interactions.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring solid coding and database skills but is not a core development position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute technical aspects of customer implementations, including integrations, API calls, and data management.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
• Liaise directly with customers to troubleshoot, address technical questions, and ensure successful deployment.
• Work with internal teams to customize solutions per client requirements without handling front-end code.
• Handle scripting responsibilities using Python and SQL, especially around querying databases and understanding relational database structures.
• Utilize GitHub for CI/CD tasks, manage pull requests, and maintain clean and functional script code.
• Support and guide clients through the technical integration process.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to write, read, and understand database queries.
• Familiarity with API calls and integrating different systems.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes using GitHub.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
