  • Work with Cabot’s Wealth Advisors, tax advisors and our custodian partners to process various aspects of client service such as preparation of client paperwork, money transfers and other administrative tasks.
  • Cross train as backup for building, executing, and allocating trades according to portfolio management instructions.
  • Responsible for front end functions including manning phones, field incoming calls to assist clients with questions or requests.
  • Provide consistent and professional high-level service to our HNW clients.
  • Support in house tax team on an as needed basis.
  • Assist marketing efforts on an as needed basis.
  • Provide ongoing support to our operations and client services team.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar field, with proven academic achievement.
  • Prior hands-on experience in the financial services industry (2+ years full-time)
  • General knowledge of financial securities, markets, transactions, and terms required, along with ability to apply this knowledge to accomplish primary responsibilities.
  • Prior operations, client services experience preferred.
  • Experience using Axys, Salesforce, and Charles Schwab custodial platform preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs with Advanced experience in Excel.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize duties
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Full Job Description

The Operations and Client Services position is a back-office support role designed to facilitate superior levels of service for our high-net-worth clients. This is done by correctly processing back-office account updates, maintenance, client requests and paperwork. The position is designed to support various departments across the company including operations, portfolio management, advisor, and tax teams as our company’s needs require.

The ideal candidate has previous financial services experience, including familiarity with portfolio accounting systems, back-office operations, financial lingo, understanding of financial transactions and settlement, as well as exceptional client service experience.
