  • Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning patient and repeating procedure.
  • Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

Qualifications

Required

  • Registered Sonographer
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered Vascular Specialist
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in vascular sonography (VS) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Preferred

  • Experience preferred.

Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Summary:
Performs vascular sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
