- When on the floor restocking: greet or acknowledge all customers entering the shop, approaching sales location, or on the phone
- Learns customer’s shopping purpose
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience working with stock, inventory, and replenishing shelves of very fast paced stores
- Sales oriented and can handle customer service as needed
- Outgoing, good interpersonal and communication skills required
- Ability to learn requirements of the job such as register functions, product information, museum collections and relatedness, location of merchandise, etc.
- Knowledge of art history, museums, and NYC cultural institutions
- Enjoys working in a fast paced, high-volume environment

My well known NYC based fine arts client is looking for a STOCK SPECIALIST to work PART TIME ONSITE (21-28 hours a week, must have weekend and night availability and be flexible) in their museum gift shop - really exciting opportunity and MUST have experience working retail for a museum, history or fine arts establishment, or luxury fashion brand!
Role can pay $25/hr with some membership selling bonus incentives.
