Multi-Family Construction Superintendent

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all phases of day-to-day jobsite construction, adhere to all jobsite safety regulations, including OSHA safety compliance
• Effective communication with Project Manager regarding any performance issues, events, and daily progress.
• Work closely with the Project Manager in all aspects of construction including RFI, Submittal, Change orders processes.
• Monitor and manage all staff and subcontractors on site
• Conduct daily/weekly safety meeting and weekly construction meetings
• Manage & maintain construction schedule to ensure that work is performed according to the contract documents and provide weekly updates
• Ability to understand and follow multi-family apartment construction sequencing, plans, blueprints, specifications, and warranty standards
• Insure that as-built working drawings are maintained as well as current drawings log and revision log and communicating these to the subcontractors
• Responsible for coordinating inspections, completing daily reports, verify material delivery quantities, revisions and red-line plan modifications
• Proficient skills as MS Office, Drop Box, CoConstruct, Procore, Blue Beam or other scheduling and organizational software.
• Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in construction area
• Strong project management and communications skills
• Ability to read construction documents
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
