  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.

JOB SUMMARY:


  • The main function of a logistics specialist is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. A typical logistics specialist is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
  • 100% TRAVEL REQUIRED - Frequent daily travel to various warehouse sites is required. Must be comfortable with extensive travel, including being away from home for up to 5 days per week and staying in hotels. Travel expenses will be covered.



RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformation to standards and specifications.
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
  • Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.
  • Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse environment is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Reporting of key performance indicators
  • High proficiency in MS products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Results-driven with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong critical thinking: analysis, interpretation, and explanation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a multicultural business environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Self-starter, able to work without supervision
  • Capable of interacting with all levels of management, including executives
  • Able to perform under time-sensitive schedules, managing technical data feedback and language barriers
