The Quality Assurance Data Clerk at Ed Miniat LLC is responsible for facilitating the integration of data from various sources to ensure product compliance with quality and food safety programs. This role involves working closely with 3PL storage facilities and customer service to ensure timely product shipment, reviewing and verifying documentation, and maintaining quality control through various means including microbiological testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Work daily with 3PL storage facilities and customer service to ensure products ship with all pertinent information to customer in timely manner
  • Review, verify and sign Cook/Chill records per HACCP requirements
  • Review and verify passing of microbiological testing for finished product before shipment
  • Gather pre-shipment data to ensure process is complete including review of all documentation and code breakdowns
  • Prepare and conduct daily product cuttings to evaluate in house products
  • Create COA’s for customers daily
  • Monitor quality of finished product through product specification review as well as WinSPC data
  • Review chemical analysis on in house samples and compare results against finished product specifications
  • Update WinSCP and chemical analysis databases as needed for new and changes to current product information
  • Place/release product on hold based on sizing/micro/chemical data
  • Log daily quality and production activity in Microsoft Access

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a USDA or FDA sanctioned facility
  • Able to speak, read and write English
  • Working knowledge of USDA regulations and quality assurance procedures
  • Working knowledge of SPC, SSOP, and SOP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and WinSPC

Position Description:
