The Level 1 Network Operations Engineer is responsible for monitoring network devices, triaging trouble tickets, and providing initial troubleshooting to ensure network stability and performance. Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 0-2 years of experience in network operations, IT support, or related roles.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), network hardware, and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems and network security practices.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred

  • CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
