Harbor.ai is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for mission-critical initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor teams in Agile product development processes, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of product initiatives.
  • Identify potential product risks, develop mitigation strategies, and continuously assess the impact of product decisions on long-term goals.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of shipping successful products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration, clear communication, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ability to develop a product strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.
  • Proven ability to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and work with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform product decisions and validate product-market fit.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Linear and Notion and collaboration tools like Slack and Figma.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a startup environment working through product development and growth lifecycles.
  • Experience using data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) to track performance, create product KPIs, and generate insights.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects or products with multiple stakeholders in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Track record of developing products that solve real customer problems while driving business growth.
  • Experience working on global products or products with large user bases across multiple regions.
  • Experience working at an InsurTech is strongly preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for mission-critical initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver impactful solutions that align with both customer needs and business goals. Your deep understanding of technical products will enable you to deliver innovative, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to the base salary, Harbor offers PTO, sick time, a hybrid work environment (in-office in the NYC area 1-2 days per week), medical, dental and vision benefits for the employee, as well as access to an employee equity pool.
