SALES FLOOR ASSOCIATE (2 full time opportunities)

Sales Floor Associate with a visual merchandising background

Sales Floor Associate with a Stylist background

The Refind Closet, founded in 2019, is a premier location for indulging in the world of designer resale. We take immense pride in our exquisite collection of women's designer clothing and accessories, carefully curated from some of the most coveted closets across the country. Though we have a physical location in Seattle, Washington, we are known for our unique Live Shows (currently, we livestream 6 days per week) with an audience from around the world. In addition, thanks to our relationships with designers around the United States, our audience gets the opportunity to hear directly from these industry icons during Lives.

We are at another pivotal growth stage and therefore seeking several additional team members; Sales Manager/Director, Marketing Director, Business Development Representative, Consignor Relations, and Sales Associates.

Sales Associate

The Sales Floor Associate has 3+ years of experience in retail sales (with the majority of that in a luxury environment) and is inspired by fashion, sustainability and the Refind Closet’s brand. Your role will involve showcasing our exclusive products and ensuring each customer enjoys a personalized shopping experience synonymous with luxury and refinement.

It is crucial when providing an exceptional customer experience that you exceed expectations on a daily basis to increase sales conversions and drive business. In addition to your hourly compensation, you are expected to achieve quota, both individual and team. The Sales Associate will support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in store merchandising and operations. You have experience in converting walk in traffic into clients, consignors into purchasers (and vice versa), and building our community and audience. You understand the difference between a transaction and a relationship, and each and every customer you interact with, walks away feeling engaged, heard, and valued.

Deliverables you’ll be measured on:

  • Manage and develop a book of business/relationships; maximizing sales volume, customer satisfaction, and customer success. You’ll have weekly targets and participate in regular SPIFF’s; you have a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota objectives
  • Resourceful problem solver who independently translates high-level goals into actionable plans and results
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency, creating a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • You’re an avid social media participant; you know the value of Instagram, TikTok, and other venues to communicate with a broader (national) audience.
  • Interact regularly with other teams including Fulfillment, Consignor Relations, and the Live Team so you get a better understanding of inventory, and trends & customer desires
  • Ensure the store is in pristine conditions at all times. Constantly improve & innovate; upgrade the merchandising concept and new display opportunities and store setup.
  • Contribute to team efforts and be able to seamlessly transition between customers on an as needed basis; if one of your teammates has an expertise, introduce them to the client so the clients experience is enhanced.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Uphold the brand image and values through your sophistication in every interaction.

Experience you'll bring to the team:

  • Proven experience in luxury retail sales preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on building customer relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operation; POS, CRM

Must be able to work retail hours including evenings and weekends. (Shifts could include: Monday through Saturday 10:00 - 6:30. Sunday 10:00 - 4:30.)
