Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for directing the day-to-day functions of the aides, orderlies and nursing staff, as well as give direct nursing care to patients. This position is also responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the education programs for facility staff in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, and in conjunction with policies and procedures established by the facility.

Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed in the state of Tennessee as a licensed practical nurse (LPN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, shift changes and weekends
  • Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
  • Supervise support staff including training, scheduling and assigning work; reviewing performance and assisting in problem-solving for staff issues
