  • Controls for HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handling units, heat recovery and terminal units
  • BAS system design for HVAC, Lighting and Access control systems using the Delta Controls
  • Prepare cost estimates for control systems for commercial, industrial and institutional HVAC systems
  • Design/build budgeting
  • Energy utilization conservation calculations
  • Manage labor budget
  • Complete re-estimation, RFI, and change orders
  • Work with customers to ensure the finished design meets their needs
  • Learn from coworkers to increase knowledge of technical and design information
  • Collaborate with account managers on construction estimates and proposal writing
  • Regularly update your manager of progress, concerns, and encumbrances

Qualifications

Required

  • BS in mechanical engineering or 10+ years’ experience in building control systems and/or equivalent HVAC knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC and product and systems equipment and specs
  • Working knowledge of DDC, electric and pneumatic control systems
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

  • Regularly update your manager of progress, concerns, and encumbrances,
  • Training and Development
  • Study and use our robust internal resources including training materials, previously created designs, specific training classes and modules, and vendor training classes and materials
  • Gain or maintain expert knowledge of our Delta product line and equipment including BACnet protocols and associated controls devices
  • Collaborate with expert coworkers and managers on increasingly complex and challenging projects


Desired Qualifications include:

Job Parameters

  • On site position - we have offices in Littleton, south of Denver, and in Colorado Springs. This position may be based in either office.
